The Life Center Academy Warriors can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Thursday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 79-45 victory over The City School. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Life Center Academy considering their zero-point performance the matchup before.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Life Center Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Elijah Brown, who almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine rebounds. Brown hasn't dropped below 15 points for ten straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Keith Brown Jr, who shot 5-for-8 from long range and dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 assists.
Life Center Academy has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 23-9 record this season. As for The City School, they dropped their record down to 9-9 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Life Center Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Spartans at 8:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Olympus comes in still looking for their first win of the season. The City School will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on the Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on February 22nd.
