The Braswell Bengals won the last time they faced the Boyd Broncos, and things went their way on Thursday too. Braswell strolled past Boyd with points to spare, taking the game 42-24. Given Braswell's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 111th, while Boyd is ranked 447th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Leading Braswell to victory were Jeremiah Shipp and Moses Adelowo. Shipp rushed for 162 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.1 yards per carry, while Adelowo rushed for 240 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 12.0 yards per carry. Shipp's longest rush was for an incredible 72 yards. Kahlil Davis made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
The victory makes it two in a row for Braswell and bumps their season record up to 4-6. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 27 points. As for Boyd, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Braswell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Boyd also has no future games currently scheduled.
