It was a good run, but  Bemidji unfortunately witnessed the end of their  three-game winning streak on Thursday. They took  a  6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grand Rapids Thunderhawks. The Lumberjacks were not able to make up for their  loss to the Thunderhawks from their previous meeting  back in May of 2024.
 Bemidji saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jack Lundquist, who  went 1-for-2 with one  stolen base and one  run.  Gunner Ganske also deserves some recognition as  he  hit his first  triple of the season.
Bemidji's  defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 8-2. As for Grand Rapids, the  win was  the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.
 Looking ahead, Bemidji will venture away from home to  face off against Denfeld  at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday. The last three games the Hunters have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Grand Rapids, they will square off against Hibbing at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday.
