In other batting news, Jaxon Heath was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Mason Brown was another key player, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Greenville Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Liberty Christian Academy only posted an OBP of .333.
Meanwhile, Eastern Christian HomeSchool has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 4.06 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They fell just short of John Paul II Catholic by a score of 11-9.
Greenville Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Eastern Christian HomeSchool, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-5 record this season.
