Brian Selig posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out 12 batters over six innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.
