McCook Central/Montrose took down Sioux Falls Christian 26-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Flandreau made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 980 from 1,324.
6-foot-2 quarterback Brandon Reif of the Cougars is the league leader in passing yards this season with 269. He has also thrown three touchdowns. On the ground, the Fliers' Jacob Patterson has rushed for 551 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Tyler Tofte. The Sioux Valley star has nine catches for 142 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Garretson and Flandreau. The Blue Dragons enters the game ranked 25th in the state, while Chad Stadem's team ranks third.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Garretson takes on the Fliers. Tim Hughes's team has allowed 54 points this season, while Flandreau has given up 44.
McCook Central/Montrose featured an ironclad defense this week, and led the league in points allowed with 0.
