Bishop Snyder's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Saige Grace, who went 6 for 8 on her way to 12 points in addition to eight rebounds and eight blocks. Grace continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Shelby Gaines, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine boards.
Harvest Community's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Bishop Snyder, their victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harvest Community will head out to take on Old Plank Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Old Plank Christian Academy will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Harvest Community surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bishop Snyder, they will venture away from home to face off against Yulee at 4:45 p.m. on Monday.
