Catonsville is 6-1 against the Generals since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Catonsville Comets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Towson Generals at 5:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Catonsville's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while the Generals have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
Last Friday, Catonsville strolled past the Patriots with points to spare, taking the game 56-42.
Even though Towson has not done well against the Bulls recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Towson took down the Bulls 58-41.
Towson's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Seven Wheeler, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds. Braden Renner was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six assists and two steals.
Catonsville is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Towson, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.
Catonsville strolled past the Generals in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 by a score of 75-58. Will Catonsville repeat their success, or do the Generals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
