City Arts and Leadership Academy has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Wednesday. They will face off against the Sterne Dolphins at 5:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Last Friday, City Arts and Leadership Academy suffered a rough 57-34 defeat at the hands of the Phoenix.
Meanwhile, Sterne's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their eighth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Wallenberg, falling 65-26.
Despite their loss, Sterne saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Rico Duenas, who scored eight points, was perhaps the best of all.
City Arts and Leadership Academy now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Sterne, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-13.
City Arts and Leadership Academy strolled past the Dolphins in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 58-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for City Arts and Leadership Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
