Softball Recap: Como-Pickton Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Como-Pickton entered their tilt with Fruitvale on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Bobcats. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 12 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Como-Pickton's win bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Fruitvale, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Como-Pickton is set to challenge their familiar foe Cumby at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Fruitvale will take on rival Martins Mill at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
