Even though the Luray Bulldogs have not done well against the Central Woodstock Falcons recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Luray came out on top against Central Woodstock by a score of 52-39. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Luray.
Luray got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Connor Hilliard out in front who scored 14 points along with three steals. Christian Lentz was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.
Luray's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Central Woodstock, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Luray will take on Strasburg at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Central Woodstock, they will be playing in front of their home fans against James Wood at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. James Wood is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
