Lennard got some further help from Jamarie Clarke: he picked up 1.5 sacks, made 15 total tackles (1.5 for loss), and defended a pass.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Lennard was moving up and down the field and finished the game with 505 total yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Spoto only gained 376.
Several Spartans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Z'Orey Cotton, who rushed for 112 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries. Jesse Harden also helped out with an impressive 156 receiving yards.
Lennard's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Spoto, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
