Lafayette better keep an eye on Alyssa Hallman. She was instrumental in Hilliard's win, going 10 of 18 on her way to 23 points and eight boards. The matchup was Hallman's third in a row with at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kailyn Ballance, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
Hilliard was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Lafayette's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Hilliard, their win bumped their record up to 15-8.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Lafayette has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 33.3 boards per game. However, it's not like Hilliard struggles in that department as they've been averaging 30.9 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
