Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pleasant Hill). Everything went their way against the Elmira Falcons on Tuesday as they made off with a 13-3 victory. The Billies not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 10, 2024 (when they won 15-1).
Judah Kelso was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Cohen Fenley was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Cota Aanrud, who earned one run and three stolen bases.
Pleasant Hill's win bumped their record up to 7-4-1. As for Elmira, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.
