Volleyball Recap: Loretto Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Tate Newton and Breleigh Winters

Loretto saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Grace Christian Academy Lions.

Despite the loss, Loretto had strong showings from Breleigh Winters, who had 13 digs and one assist, and Tate Newton, who had five assists and two aces.

Loretto's defeat dropped their record down to 12-20. As for Grace Christian Academy, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-7.

Loretto has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Gallatin on the 20th. As for Grace Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Battle Ground Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
