If Grayslake North was feeling good fresh off their 6-0 takedown of Harvard on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Knights fell 5-1 to the Antioch Sequoits on Thursday. The Knights' defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Grayslake North saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jasleen Delgado, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Grayslake North's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 12-4. As for Antioch, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grayslake North will head out to square off against Lake Zurich at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Antioch, they will venture away from home to challenge Richmond-Burton at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. The Rockets' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Sequoits' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
