The Englewood Rams will head out to take on the ED White Commanders at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Englewood took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Ribault as they made off with a 14-3 win. The victory continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won four in a row.

Skyly Hyers made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was even better at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four stolen bases, and three runs.
In other batting news, Eh Sher Moo was incredible, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with eight stolen bases and three runs. Kiandra Carswell was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask ED White). They blew past Westside 22-2 on Tuesday.
The team relied heavily on Mckenzie Holloway, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Promise Jones, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
ED White always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .812. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
The win got Englewood back to even at 2-2. As for ED White, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
Everything went Englewood's way against ED White in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as Englewood made off with a 20-5 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
