Pryor is on a seven-game streak of home losses (dating back to last season), Claremore a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Pryor Tigers will take on the Claremore Zebras at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pryor will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 409th, while Claremore is ranked 188th).
Pryor suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They were beaten by Booker T. Washington 87-23. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Pryor has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Claremore strolled past Grove with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 58-42.
Pryor's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Claremore, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.
Things could have been worse for Pryor, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 47-32 loss to Claremore in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Can Pryor avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
