The Mifflinburg Wildcats will face off against the Loyalsock Township Lancers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Mifflinburg is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
Mifflinburg blew Lewisburg out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Saturday Lewisburg got their revenge. The Wildcats fell just short of the Green Dragons by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Wildcats have suffered against the Green Dragons since April 9, 2021.

Landen Murray made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and earned two runs and three stolen bases. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played.
Loyalsock Township never got on the board in their matchup on Wednesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Jersey Shore on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Bulldogs.
Deryk Kulp spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on four hits and racked up nine Ks. Loyalsock Township is 4-1 when Kulp allows one or fewer earned runs, but 4-7 otherwise.
At the plate, Chase Wright was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Kayden Keefer, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Loyalsock Township always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. They are 4-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Loyalsock Township's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-8. As for Mifflinburg, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.
Mifflinburg was able to grind out a solid victory over Loyalsock Township in their previous matchup back in April, winning 4-1. Do the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lancers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
