Crivitz proved they can win big on Monday (they won by eight) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Lena Wildcats 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wolverines have posted since April 4th.

Crivitz has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Lena, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-3 record this season.
