The biggest upset of the week belonged to Valencia, who took down 26th ranked Grants, 21-7.
Los Lunas extended the longest winning streak in 4A District 6 this week by beating Gallup, 56-0. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Tigers.
Miyamura's Zach Shank and Jared Meese have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Shank has thrown for 1468 yards this season, while Meese has 30 catches for 401 yards. Los Lunas' Jalen Chavez leads the league in rushing yards with 939.
Jeremy Newton's team's Chavez is a mere 61 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Belen takes on the Jaguars. The Eagles are currently in second, while Valencia is in fourth.
The Tigers took down the Bengals 56-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Chavez ran for 82 yards in the win.
