The Fairview Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Hale Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Michigan (Fairview is ranked 541st, while the Eagles are ranked 554th).
Last Monday, Fairview came up short against the Wolverines and fell 43-31. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Fairview in their matchups with the Wolverines: they've now lost five in a row.
Meanwhile, Hale didn't have too much trouble with the Huskies on the road on Tuesday as they won 52-37. The win was just what Hale needed coming off of a 63-41 defeat in their prior match.
Fairview's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Hale, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-6.
Fairview came up short against the Eagles in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 36-25. Can Fairview avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
