Michael Payne was a major factor in Cholla's victory over Ironwood Ridge on Tuesday. Ironwood Ridge had no answer to Payne as he scored 20 points along with seven assists in the win.
Payne and Cholla will be playing in front of their home fans against Nogales at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Payne hasn't had any trouble running up the score (he's averaged 20.5 per game this season), but it's looking like he'll have his work cut out for him against Nogales' dominant defense.
