Basketball Recap: St. John's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bristol, St. John was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 65-57 win over the Horizon Science Academy Dragons. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Fighting Herald as it put an end to their eight-game losing streak dating back to last season.

St. John's win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-1. As for Horizon Science Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

St. John will venture away from home to square off against Chalker at 1:00 p.m. on December 21st. As for Horizon Science Academy, they will be home for the holidays to greet Lake Ridge Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
