The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew May, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
A Plus Academy bumped their record down to 0-5 with that loss, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 17.7 points per game. As for Village Tech, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-14.
A Plus Academy will challenge Life Oak Cliff at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Life Oak Cliff presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than A Plus Academy in Texas (Life Oak Cliff is ranked 560th, while A Plus Academy is ranked 1690th). As for Village Tech, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Gateway Charter Academy at 7:00 p.m.
