East Carter is a perfect 10-0 against Fleming County since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. East Carter will host Fleming County at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, East Carter got the win against Shelby Valley by a conclusive 10-3.

Valandingham also got a hit, marking his first of the season. Riley Steele was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Not much got past Jett Martin, who gave up just two hits and racked up eight Ks to keep Bath County off the board.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Parker Sills, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Thadd Applegate, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
Fleming County's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for East Carter, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. East Carter has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Fleming County struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.5 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went East Carter's way against Fleming County in their previous matchup back in May of 2023, as East Carter made off with a 12-2 win. Will East Carter repeat their success, or does Fleming County has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
