A Season-Best Effort from Ayomide Ogundipe Leads Moon Valley over Carl Hayden Community
Moon Valley was led to victory by Ayomide Ogundipe, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Ogundipe's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 139 rushing yards dating back to last season.
The victory (which was Moon Valley's third in a row) raised their record to 3-2. Ogundipe and Moon Valley are taking a road trip to face off against St. Mary's at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Miles Woods Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Carl Hayden Community had to settle for second even though Miles Woods put up the best numbers he has all season. Woods rushed for 99 yards and a touchdown on only five carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 65 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Carl Hayden Community's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. Woods and Carl Hayden Community will play host again on Friday to welcome Youngker, where kickoff is scheduled at 7:00 p.m.

Zuhri Came Up Big in Moon Valley's 58-14 Victory
The second Moon Valley player making an appearance here is Jahvandre Zuhri, and for good reason. He rushed for 66 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
On the year, Zuhri has averaged 56.4 passing yards per game.

Tristen Ely Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Moon Valley got the W thanks in part to Tristen Ely playing the best football he has all season. Ely rushed for 43 yards and two touchdowns.
Unfortunately for Carl Hayden Community, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Ely. When Ely last faced the Falcons back in September of 2023, he rushed for 173 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries.

Carlos Toscano Makes Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Carlos Toscano of Greenway. Toscano rushed for 165 yards. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 104 rushing yards dating back to last season.
If the past is any indication, Toscano could be in store for another big game when he takes on Glendale on Friday. When Toscano last faced the Cardinals back in October of 2023, he rushed for 112 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 37 receiving yards.
