Cimarron is a perfect 6-0 against Colby since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bluejays will face off against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
It was a Battle of the Birds when Cimarron took on Skyline on Friday. The Bluejays' pitcher stepped up to hand the Thunderbirds a 20-0 shutout. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bluejays.

Quinn Campbell made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Presley Glenn, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Zayla Hunsaker, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI.
Cimarron always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .839. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Colby made easy work of Sublette on Friday and carried off a 14-3 win. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Larks: they've now won four in a row.
Colby let Emily Flanagin and Ryler Carter run wild. Flanagin went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run, while Carter went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Kenley Moss also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
Cimarron's record is now 13-3. As for Colby, their record now sits at an identical 13-3.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Cimarron has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .500. However, it's not like Colby struggles in that department as they've averaged .492. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Cimarron skirted past Colby 4-3 when the teams last played back in April of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bluejays since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
