Dante Carr Delivers Electric Performance Vs Tri-Valley
Starting off the list is Minersville's Dante Carr, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Carr rushed for 146 yards and four touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 176 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 passes. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his eighth straight game with at least 101 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Carr is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Panther Valley on Thursday. When Carr last faced the Panthers back in September of 2023, he threw for 204 yards and two touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 31 yards and a touchdown.

Fletcher Thompson Turns in Season-Best Effort
Williams Valley was led to victory by Fletcher Thompson, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Thompson rushed for 179 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries.
Williams Valley's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1. Thompson and Williams Valley will head out to square off against Pine Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Brady Shomper Makes It Two for Williams Valley
Another Williams Valley player making an appearance on this list is Brady Shomper. He threw for 245 yards and four touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes, and also rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
Shomper and Williams Valley will challenge Pine Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last time Shomper took on the Cardinals, he threw for 102 yards and two touchdowns on only five passes. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Underclassman Rory Dixon Major Player in Marian Catholic Win
While Friday's victory was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Rory Dixon. He turned in nothing short of a gem on Friday, rushing for 138 yards and three touchdowns.
Unfortunately for Pine Grove, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Dixon. Dixon rushed for 163 yards and a touchdown the last time he and Pine Grove duked it out back in October of 2023.

Crisswell Posts Huge Game in 75-3 Victory
Another Williams Valley player making an appearance on this list is Brayden Crisswell. He picked up three sacks and made five total tackles.
On the season, Crisswell has averaged 5.2 total tackles per game and for the season has 10 sacks. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had one receiving touchdown. This year he is already up to three.
