North Bay Haven Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayden Spurlock, who rushed for 135 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries. North Bay Haven Academy also got help from Willie Holley who showed off his sure hands for 86 receiving yards.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jamaris Gainer, who rushed for 71 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 44 yards and a touchdown. Jaidyn Laster was another key contributor, rushing for 126 yards while picking up 7.4 yards per carry.
North Bay Haven Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-4. As for Graceville, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
North Bay Haven Academy will be playing at home against South Walton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Carson Hawk and Lakota Johnson. As for Graceville, they will head out on the road to face off against Freeport at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
