East Wake Academy extended their winning streak  to six  on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 15-3 in the process. They blew past the Falls Lake Firebirds 13-3. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 13 matches by ten  runs or more  so far this season.
East Wake Academy got a great performance from  Mason Brantley as he  struck out seven batters over  five innings while giving up  three earned runs off   three  hits (and only one walk).
 At the plate,  Dexter Benton was  incredible,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with three  stolen bases, four  RBI,  and two  runs. He has been hot recently, having  posted three or more  RBI the last three times he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Jordan Fuentes, who  went a perfect 1-for-1 with four  RBI and one  run.
 East Wake Academy  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .562. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an  OBP of .500 or higher in six consecutive  contests.
As for Falls Lake, they now  have a losing record of 9-10. They haven't had much luck with East Wake Academy recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
 On Falls Lake's side,  Boston Moyers made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 1-for-2 with one  home run and two  RBI. That  home run marked the first that  Moyers has  launched this season.  Kameron Hill was another key player,  going a perfect 1-for-1 with one  run and one  RBI.
 Falls Lake didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  15-1  victory against NCSSM: Durham on the 30th. Hopefully East Wake Academy paid attention to the Firebirds'  matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Firebirds  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday.
