Elgin/Pope John's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.1 points per game. As for Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard], their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-5.
