Norwood extended the longest winning streak in Southern Buckeye - American this week by beating Bishop Fenwick, 21-14. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
Norwood moved up to 197 from 298 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Indians climbed the ranks as a result of besting the Falcons 21-14.
Western Brown's Devin Wood and Christian Dawson have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Wood has thrown for 2732 yards this season, while Dawson, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 43 catches for 865 yards. Goshen's Marcus Casey leads the league in rushing yards with 1255.
Norwood made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,247 from 4,999. The improvement came about via a 21-14 victory over Bishop Fenwick last week.
