The Fordham Prep Rams entered their tilt with the Xavier Knights with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Fordham Prep walked away with a 59-50 win over Xavier on Friday. That's another feather in the cap for Fordham Prep, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fordham Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ryan Jackson, who scored 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Kapfer, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds.
Fordham Prep has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. As for Xavier, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fordham Prep will take on Riverdale Country at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
