The Kennedale Wildcats lost against the Alvarado Indians back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Kennedale suffered a rough 61-38 defeat at the hands of Alvarado. Kennedale has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Alvarado was led to victory by Candra Bridgewater and Joslyn Jarmon. Bridgewater scored 24 points along with six rebounds and five assists, while Jarmon scored 25 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals. Jarmon has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 19 times she's played. Aniyah Cross was another key contributor, scoring no points along with six steals.
Kennedale's loss dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Alvarado, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-14 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kennedale will take on Ferris at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alvarado, they will be playing at home against Life Waxahachie at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Life Waxahachie is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
