The Roosevelt Roughriders can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent match on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 78-43 victory over Lincoln at home. The win was just what Roosevelt needed coming off of a 63-38 defeat in their prior contest.
Roosevelt had a senior duo take command as Jalen Dollar scored 18 points and Lawrence Bailey scored 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bailey has scored all season. Dante Washington was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Roosevelt is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for Lincoln, they bumped their record down to 3-12 with that loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roosevelt will square off against Ballard at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lincoln will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Ingraham at 6:00 p.m. on January 20th.
