Volleyball Recap: Rock Hill Takes a Loss

After a string of three wins, Rock Hill's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Greenwood Eagles by a score of 2-1.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Rock Hill sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 18-25, 15-8.

Hannah Anderson paced Rock Hill's offense, picking up seven kills. Anderson got some help from Ella Lesslie and her 13 assists. Mattie Kline controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Rock Hill's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Greenwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-18 record this season.

Rock Hill didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Palmetto Christian Academy on the 4th. As for Greenwood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against York on the 4th.
