Cyprus is 9-1 against Granger since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Thursday. The Cyprus Pirates will be playing at home against the Granger Lancers at 7:00  p.m. Given that  the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this  match.
 Cyprus struggled with  offensive rebounds on Tuesday (Juan Diego Catholic had seven more) and sadly the final score reflected it. The  contest between Cyprus and Juan Diego Catholic wasn't particularly close, with Cyprus falling  68-49.
 Despite the  defeat, Cyprus saw an underclassman step up:  Koli Fosita  scored 24 points along with two  steals. Fosita is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for four games straight.  Stone Tia was another key contributor,  scoring six points along with nine  rebounds and three  steals.
 Meanwhile, Granger's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Tuesday after their third straight  defeat. They took a serious blow against West Jordan, falling  77-49. Granger has struggled against West Jordan recently, as their  game on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
 Cyprus' defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Granger, their loss was  their 20th straight at home dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 3-16.
 Everything came up roses for Cyprus against Granger when the teams last played  back in January as the  team secured a  84-47 win. Does  Cyprus have another victory up their sleeve, or will Granger turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
