There's no place like home for the Valley Christian Eagles, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They really took it to Leetonia for the full four quarters, racking up a 61-26 win at home. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-14.
Valley Christian pushed their record up to 8-7 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Leetonia, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-17.
Valley Christian will look to defend their home court on Saturday against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Leetonia will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on February 13th. Heartland Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Bears in Ohio (the Lions are ranked 383rd, while the Bears are ranked 831st).
