Greenfield is 6-0-1 against Pajaro Valley since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Bruins will welcome the Grizzlies at 4:30 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Greenfield's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They put the hurt on Anzar with a sharp 15-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bruins.

Chloe Zavala made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.
In other batting news, Isabella Figuora and Yara Hernandez did most of the damage at the plate: Figuora got on base in three of her four plate appearances with five stolen bases and three runs, while Hernandez got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Hernandez has been hot recently, having posted three or more stolen bases the last three times she's played. Natalie Soto was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI.
Meanwhile, Pajaro Valley won against Seaside on Wednesday with 19 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Grizzlies were the clear victors by a 19-4 margin over Santa Catalina. The win was nothing new for the Grizzlies as they're now sitting on three straight.
Virginia Escobar was incredible, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Angie Torres, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Pajaro Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .727. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .623 or higher in three consecutive contests.
Pajaro Valley pushed their record up to 6-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 20.0 runs over those games. As for Greenfield, their victory bumped their record up to 7-11.
Greenfield took their win against Pajaro Valley in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 17-0 score. Do the Bruins have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Grizzlies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
