Basketball Recap: Faith Christian Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Faith Christian won the last time they faced Parkview Christian Academy, and Isaiah Schuler did his part to make sure it happened again. The Faith Christian Falcons had just enough and edged the Parkview Christian Academy Falcons out 61-59 thanks in part to Schuler, who posted 18 points in addition to seven assists and six boards. What's more, he also racked up six steals, the most he's had since back in November of 2024.

Another player making a difference was Tyler Kibble, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 15 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

The win was the fourth in a row for Faith Christian, bringing their record for this year to 15-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.5 points per game. As for Parkview Christian Academy, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-10.

Faith Christian and Quad Cities Christian will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. Quad Cities Christian will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Faith Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Parkview Christian Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Nazareth Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
