The third road game was the charm for the Severance Silver Knights, as they earned their first road win of the season. They put the hurt on Niwot with a sharp 59-36 victory on Thursday. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Severance has managed all season.

Those 20 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Brady Varney, who scored seven points along with five rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why Niwot lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jackson Carano. Despite the final result, he scored eight points. Luke Demmel was another key contributor, scoring five points.
Severance now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Niwot, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.
Severance will be home for the holidays to greet Fort Morgan at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fort Morgan is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Niwot, they will head out on the road to face off against Longmont at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Longmont focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Saturday.
