Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kings Mountain). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the North Gaston Wildcats 65-0. KJ Bell was nothing short of spectacular: he threw for 170 yards and five TDs while completing 76.9% of his passes, and also punched in one rushing score. Kings Mountain also got a significant boost from Khareem Coleman, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 123 yards.
Kings Mountain didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as William Tex Vaughn, Ayven Ingram, and Camren Houser picked up one apiece.
