Holmes County took down Chipley 38-16 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Bozeman led 1A District 3 in scoring this week after putting up 46 points on South Walton. Jacob Martinez threw for 62 yards and one touchdown and ran for 118 yards in the win.
The Seahawks' dynamic duo of Johnathan Ortner and Sage Roberts proved tough for the Bucks to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Ortner threw for 228 yards and two touchdowns and Roberts had 50 yards receiving. Hampton Schaffer helped South Walton's passing attack out by catching one ball for 46 yards.
6-foot-1 quarterback Ortner of South Walton is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1027. He has also thrown nine touchdowns. On the ground, Bozeman's Martinez has rushed for 818 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Ty Russ. The Holmes County star has 16 catches for 467 yards.
Phil Tisa's team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 13,141 from 13,365. The improvement came about via a 46-27 victory over the Seahawks last week.
