Ethan Griffen of Perryville ran for the longest rushing play in Upper Chesapeake Bay - Chesapeake this season against Aberdeen last week. Griffen's team fell to the Eagles as he sprinted for 62 yards on the play and finished with 163 in all.
Patterson Mill was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from fourth to second in the league. Earlier in the week, Patterson Mill triumphed over Havre de Grace 35-21.
Perryville's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Cameron Cunningham has thrown for 1,278 yards and 8 touchdowns this season, while Tyrell Hollingsworth has 24 catches for 646 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Bel Air takes on Fallston. As it stands, the Bobcats are in third, while the Cougars are in first.
Fallston added to the longest winning streak in Upper Chesapeake Bay - Chesapeake this week by beating North Harford, 19-14. The victory was the ninth in a row for David Cesky's team.
