On Friday Foxcroft take on Houlton/Hodgdon/Greater Houlton Christian Academy at 7:00 PM. Foxcroft have the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.
Foxcroft gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener last Friday. They steamrollered Mount View 56-12. The margin was wide but not a surprise since Foxcroft are ranked far ahead of Mount View in the MaxPreps state rankings.
Meanwhile, Houlton/Hodgdon/Greater Houlton Christian Academy had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. They were completely outmatched, falling 6-63 to Bucksport.
Foxcroft's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Houlton/Hodgdon/Greater Houlton Christian Academy's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Foxcroft can add another positive mark to their record or if Houlton/Hodgdon/Greater Houlton Christian Academy can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Foxcroft's step.
