Last Friday, Cedar Creek didn't have too much trouble with the Wildcats on the road as they won 68-50. Given Cedar Creek's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 202nd, while the Wildcats are ranked 476th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Robert Conrad continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 31 points along with two steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Kenji Franklin was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Georgetown had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.5 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They came out on top against Hendrickson by a score of 58-51.
Cedar Creek has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-9 record this season. As for Georgetown, their victory bumped their record up to 24-7.
