Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. John XXIII). They put the hurt on the Incarnate Word Academy Falcons with a sharp 14-0 win on Tuesday. For the Lions, this counts as revenge for the 15-5 victory the Falcons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.
Camila Melendez was a standout: she scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2024.
