The Hebbronville Longhorns had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They claimed a resounding 58-6 win over Runge on the road. The victory was just what Hebbronville needed coming off of a 56-34 loss in their prior contest.
Hebbronville can attribute much of their success to Oscar Carrillo, who scored 12 points along with 8 assists and 7 steals. Jeffery Shreve was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Hebbronville's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Runge, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Hebbronville is on the road again on Saturday and play against Pettus at 10:15 a.m. on December 9th. Runge will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Prairie Lea at 7:30 p.m. on December 18th.
