On Thursday, in a tight contest that could have gone either way, GEO Next Generation made off with a 45-44 win over the Wildcats. The win made it back-to-back wins for GEO Next Generation.
Quinniece Darby was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 13 rebounds. Kimberly Jack was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five blocks.
GEO Next Generation is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season. As for Varnado, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.
